Understanding Prospect Lists in Kakiyo

For Kakiyo to start conversations with LinkedIn users, you need to provide a list of prospects. These are the specific individuals the AI will attempt to connect with and engage in conversations based on your configured prompts and products.

Preparing Your Prospect List

Before importing, ensure your list contains the essential information:

Essential Information (Required)

  • First Name - The prospect's first name

  • Last Name - The prospect's last name

  • LinkedIn URL - The complete URL to the prospect's LinkedIn profile

Important: These three elements are the absolute minimum required for your list to function properly in Kakiyo.

Make sure that URLs include the full LinkedIn profile address (starting with https://www.linkedin.com/in/)

Additional Information (Optional)

You can include unlimited additional data columns in your CSV file:

  • Job titles

  • Company names

  • Industry information

  • Contact history

  • Personal notes

  • Qualification criteria

  • Pain points

  • Budget information

  • Any other relevant data

Important: All additional columns beyond the essential three will be provided to the AI as "additional information" or context. This enriches the AI's understanding of each prospect, enabling more personalized conversations. There is no limit to how much additional information you can include.

  3. Confirm the upload

Step 3: Review and Validate

  2. Verify that key information appears correctly

Troubleshooting Import Issues

Common Problems and Solutions

  • Missing Data: Ensure all required fields are included in your CSV

  • Formatting Errors: Check for inconsistent formatting or special characters

  • Duplicate Entries: Remove duplicates before importing

  • Invalid URLs: Verify LinkedIn URLs are correctly formatted

  • Header Row Problems: Make sure your CSV includes a header row with column names

Staggered Imports

  • For very large campaigns, consider importing prospects in batches

  • This allows you to test campaign performance with a smaller group before scaling

  • Monitor initial results and adjust your approach before importing the full list

Data Validation Tips

  • Use a spreadsheet application to clean your data before importing

  • Check for and remove any blank rows

  • Ensure consistent formatting of names, titles, and companies

  • Verify that URLs include the full LinkedIn profile address (starting with https://www.linkedin.com/in/)

Best Practices for List Management

  • Campaign Capacity: Monitor how many prospects remain in your active campaigns

  • Archiving: Archive rather than delete old prospect lists for future reference

  • Documentation: Keep notes on list sources and criteria for future reference
